The Germanian Wars were a campaign led by Roman Emperor
Marcus Aurelius against the Barbarians.
In 168 CE, Emperor Marcus Aurelius had conquered most of Europe. However, he still faced the Germanian tribe of Barbarians in Germania (modern-day Germany). He sent a huge army under command of Roman General Maximus Decimus Meridius to fight the barbarians. Since that year, fighting between Roman Legionaires and Barbarian warriors have fought horrible battles.
In 180 CE, Maximus prepared to fight a Barbarian Army that was coming through the woods. Maximus successfully defeated that army with the combined forces of artillery, infantry, and cavalry. The war ended after that battle, there being nobody left to fight in Germania.
